Tower of Babel

A friend told me about this new show on Nickelodeon called "House of Anubis." I saw the pyramid in it, and other things, and knew that the occult was involved. Here's what I found out:

From this page, I learned that Anubis is the jackal-headed god, associated with mummification and the afterlife in ancient Egyptian religion.

"Anubis is a son of Ra in early myths, but later he became known as son of Set and Nephthys, and he helped Isis mummify Osiris."

So Anubis, like Ra, is associated with the Tower of Babel, and rebellion to God.

So, "House of Anubis" is like saying "House of Rebellion to God"

I was trying to put dates to this, but much of it is guess work, and would take me hours to figure out - here's a summary, though, backup links are below:

2494 to 2345 BC . . . Ra was the ancient Egyptian solar deity - the sun god - people worshiped the sun - He is associated with the Tower of Babel, and other ancient gods of the world

2348 BC . . . Genesis flood narrative

300 BC . . . Nimrod is traditionally considered the leader of those who built the Tower of Babel in the land of Shinar - Nimrod was a tyrant who tried to turn the people away from God - God did not utterly destroy the people with a flood in this case, but scattered them.

The Celtic Christian cross - It has often been claimed that St. Patrick combined the symbol of Christianity with the sun cross, to give pagan followers an idea of the importance of the cross by linking it with the idea of the life-giving properties of the sun. Other interpretations claim that placing the cross on top of the circle represents Christ's supremacy over the pagan sun.

So in the Nickelodeon show, they're making evil look innocent, desensitizing you to evil, and giving a nod to rebellion to God.
